Feminists preach that women are oppressed by men, and that people need to be more tolerable of women’s personal choices. They have a certain image in their head about how women should look and act. Ironically, if anyone ever deviates from that image, they like to attack them viciously over social media.
Apparently their image is women who don’t want kids, but live through their cats…
From Gateway Pundit:
Ouch!
Kellyanne Conway, the first female campaign manager to win a US presidential campaign, slammed the angry feminists attacking her on Twitter for wanting to stay home with her kids.
Conway told Stewart Varney most of these women have no kids and only cats.
“I can’t help but think that people are judging my politics and not my motherhood. And I would just note to you that some people who have attacked me are moms but a lot of the women who have attacked me are either childless interns born in the 1990s or women I noticed who have cats as their Twitter pictures.”
This isn’t the first time feminists have lashed out at her. Politics aside, you think they’d be thrilled that a women was the head of a winning presidential campaign, but they’ve been nothing but salty.
Even known feminist, Keli Goff from The Daily Beast, had to agree that they were going too far:
To be clear, there is very little that has come out of Kellyanne Conway’s mouth the last couple of months I have agreed with. But of all of the things for feminists, including myself, to take issue with, her comments about motherhood should not be on the list. The fact that publications attacked her shows just how out of touch they are with many women across this country and their values, and it explains why so many in the East Coast media bubble remain shocked these women didn’t vote for Hillary – and their specific brand of feminism.
She’s absolutely right. You can’t preach tolerance and acceptance of women’s choices, then attack women when they take jobs of their own free will.
