Survivor Contestant Outs A Transgender Person – All Hell Breaks Loose

The SJWs are really going nuts right now at the classic CBS show, Survivor.

What’s gotten their panties in a wad this time, you might ask? Well, apparently the show had the audacity to show footage of a rival contestant outing a transgender person and now they’re being labeled as transphobic.

Gimme a break.

For those who have been living under a rock for the last 17 years, survivor is a show where a group of people who have never met before are stranded somewhere isolated, where they have to figure out how to provide food, water, fire, and other essentials for themselves. Challenges are then presented to them where they can win rewards that make their time on the show easier, or can grant immunity from elimination.

A recent contestant, Jeff Varner, was recently “voted off the island.” Before leaving, Varner addressed the host and other contestants saying, “There is deception here, deception on levels, Jeff, that these guys don’t even understand.” He then turned to Smith and asked,  “Why haven’t you told anyone you’re transgender?”

According to Heat Street:

The transmission of the ‘shock’ outing was accompanied by a feature by Smith for The Hollywood Reporter, an interview with People and ‘heartfelt’ apologies by Varner on his social media account for the “worst decision of his life.”

He wrote in The Hollywood Reporter, “In calling me deceptive, Varner invoked one of the most odious stereotypes of transgender people, a stereotype that is often used as an excuse for violence and murder” while he told People, “The message should be clear that hate will always lose.”

Smith has a right to be offended though that’s part of the Reality TV package. But the outrage has now formed a life of its own online with many not only opposing CBS’s decision to air the footage but calling for a boycott of Survivor.

And the sad thing is, that last one is probably right…

I’m calling it now, the shows going to get super duper politically correct, and if anyone has anything bad to say about Smith, they’re going to be metaphorically crucified… actually, who knows, they might literally crucify the person.
