Her name is Stacey Dash, and even though she’s all over Fox News right now, you might remember her best from as Kanye West’s girlfriend from his classic song and music video, ‘All Falls Down.’ I could watch this video again, and again, and again…
Anyways, in a recent ET interview, Stacey spilled the beans on all things from her views on transgenders to feminists. And oh boy, when she started talking about feminists, she didn’t mince words. That’s what’s up Stacey. We’re with you on this one!
From ET:
Dash’s views on feminism should prove similarly controversial, as she claimed that the movement has actually emasculated men.
“We are the most powerful creatures on the planet, women. That’s why I hate when they say I don’t get this, I don’t get that. I’m like, ‘Come on! We have the men. We raise the men. So, let’s start letting them be men,'” she argued. “Stop trying to be men. Let’s be women. And let’s let men be men. Let’s empower them to be men, because I feel like they’re falling away.”
The Clueless actress told ET she is starting her own “brand,” called Dash America, which will apparently change the way we see 21st century feminists.
“I can look like I look and use all the tools in my toolbox, be a stay-at-home mother and a wife and be a feminist or be a CEO of a company and wear a dress and show my legs and whatever God gave me and be a feminist,” she said. “I don’t have to dress like a man or try to beat a man or try and get a man’s job to be a feminist.”
“What we’re doing is we’re chipping away at what it is to be a woman and to be feminine,” she added. “And what it is to be a man and be masculine. We’re chipping away at that. I wish we could go back to Mad Men days. I love those days. Men were men. And I love them.”
